Goodbye San Diego

So far things are going quite well in our new lives. Of course it is colder, but we are getting used to it. Bread and croissants are really really good. Trains are plentiful and mostly on-time - no car, no motorcycle so far. The house is 10min by train from downtown Paris. Everybody around here seems to expect that you have been living right here since you were born. Annelie does wake up for a long time every night due to jet lag (hence this email - she is in her bath at 3am), but we keep good morale by thinking we won't have to deal with this again anytime soon.
